1. Who these terms are between
These terms are an agreement between you — the business that opens an account — and the operator of SyncField ("we", "us"). By ticking the acceptance box at signup you confirm you are authorised to enter this agreement for your business.
We record which version of these terms you accepted and when. That record is kept for as long as your account exists.
2. Your account
Your account lives on its own subdomain and its own database. You are responsible for the accounts you create inside it, for the accuracy of the customer and site records you enter, and for keeping credentials secure.
Each person who signs in needs their own login. Sharing one login between technicians defeats the proof-of-attendance records the product produces, and we cannot vouch for records produced that way.
3. The trial
A new account starts on a 14-day trial charged at $1. The fee confirms your card works; it is not refundable but it is the only amount charged during the trial.
Your first full monthly charge falls on day 15. You may cancel at any point before then and no further amount is taken. We show your real monthly price before you enter card details, not after.
4. Fees and billing
Your monthly fee is the tier base plus any zones and driver seats beyond those included in your tier. Adding a zone or a driver seat changes your fee from the next billing period. Removing one reduces it the same way.
Prices are in the currency shown at signup and exclude taxes unless stated. If we change our published pricing, your existing rate continues until we give you at least 30 days' notice in writing.
If a payment fails we will retry and tell you. If it stays unpaid, the account moves to read-only: you keep access to everything already recorded and can export it, but no new work can be entered until the balance clears.
5. Your data is yours
Everything you put into SyncField — customers, sites, jobs, photos, invoices, certificates — remains yours. We process it to run the service for you and for no other purpose. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train models.
You can export your data at any time while the account is active, including during a read-only period. If you close your account you keep sign-in access to export it for 90 days afterwards, after which we delete it.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use SyncField to:
- store personal information you have no lawful basis to hold;
- track staff outside their working hours, or without telling them;
- probe, overload or reverse engineer the service, or resell access to it;
- upload malicious files, or content you have no right to upload.
7. Your technicians
The field app records location when a technician starts travel, arrives and completes a job, and stamps proof photos with that location. This is visible to the technician in the app at the moment it happens.
You are responsible for telling your technicians this, and for having a lawful basis to collect it where you operate. We provide the record; the employment relationship is yours.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep SyncField available continuously, and the field app is built to keep working with no signal so a technician's day is not lost to an outage at either end. We do not promise uninterrupted service.
We may change features. Where a change removes something you rely on, we will give notice before it takes effect.
9. Suspension and ending the agreement
You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period. We do not pro-rate part months.
We may suspend an account for non-payment, or immediately for conduct under clause 6 that puts other customers or the service at risk. We will tell you why.
10. Liability
SyncField is a record-keeping and scheduling tool. It does not verify that work was performed correctly, that a certificate is accurate, or that an invoice is owed — those remain your professional judgement.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including under consumer guarantees.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the place where the operator of this SyncField instance is established, and the courts there have jurisdiction.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms, or about anything in them you want changed before you sign up, should go to the contact address published on our site.
